The group has spent the last year working, being with family, and all around being busy.

With this new year we plan to keep IIS comments, topics, forums, and information flowing.  Please email us your questions.  Send us your issues, call out to us on problems. We will do as much as we can to focus on all things IIS.

Regrouping and hoping to make this a destination site for all things IIS.

In the next few months please check back to see our new features and additions. We have a series planned on IIS extensions and performance. Send us your ideas, comments, and suggestions.

This is great as a server administrator.  Users will pull the AJAX (javascript) files from a microsoft server instead of your server.   Savings can be seen in the time serving the file and also the bandwidth.

It is very granular and allows you to tailor how a site or web application functions.  I love this aspect of IIS.   One difficult problem to overcome is just the sheer number of things you can configure.  I now have my primary web host set to the very basic elements and schema I prefer.   To get to this point I had to read and understand what each element does.
